The role of cycling in your life?
Cycling has been an integral part of my life since childhood. It was not only my way of getting to school but also how I visited friends and had fun. I didn’t go anywhere without my bike! Today, I continue to rely on cycling, not just for the health benefits and eco-friendly aspect, but also as a convenient way to handle day-to-day tasks. And, of course, always to have fun!

Your favorite trip?
I love Asia for the cultural and historical aspect. And the country I had the most fun to explore and discover was Myanmar, with its colorful temples and welcoming locals. It was marvelous to cycle around Inle Lake and cross with my bike on a wooden boat.

A travel anecdote about you?
I spent a year in New Zealand, and of course, I wanted to see as much as possible. And on my to-do list I had the “see the longest place name sign of the world”. This sign of 85 letters is situated in Hawke’s Bay and I had to convince my boyfriend to drive… 7 hours to see it! I succeeded (still not sure how) and was able to cross it off my list and have my picture taken in front of Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamate-aturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatah, and I’m still so happy about it!

Your favorite French region and why?
I have to say Alsace! A wonderful region that you can visit all year round: Spring for the flowers, Summer for the beautiful weather, Automn for the superb colors in the vineyards and of course Winter for the Christmas markets! Don’t forget to taste all our culinary specialties.

A must-try French specialty?
Difficult to choose just one! But what I miss the most when I’m traveling is bread and cheese. Don’t miss the chance to taste a wonderful baguette with a cheese platter. Did you know that we have more than 400 cheese varieties?

A hidden talent?
Karaoke.
