The Col de la Bonette remains my highest peak to this day.

The role of cycling in your life? Every day… or almost every day! Whether it’s for my job as an instructor/guide, to get to the office or to have fun with friends on the single tracks on Sundays.
Your favorite trip? It’s hard to choose, but I’d name three: Brittany with my parents years ago, a road trip through the Alps, the Vosges and then the Loire castles with my newly-wed wife, and a cycling holiday in the Alps with my Club mates. The Col de la Bonette remains my highest peak to this day.
A travel anecdote about you? My family’s bike tour of the Île de Ré is a great memory.
Your favorite French region and why? The Occitanie region, more specifically Montpellier, the Pic Saint-Loup and the Cévennes. I love this part of France, where I’ve lived for over 30 years. I came here to study, fell in love with the place and have stayed ever since.
A must-try French specialty? There are so many different kinds of cheese, best accompanied by a good glass of wine.
A hidden talent? IT is my first profession, which I practiced for over 20 years as an engineer.
