Cynisca Cycling: a rising women's team

Have you heard of Cynisca Cycling, a non-profit organization dedicated to growing women’s cycling? By helping talented cyclists reach the top of the cycling scene, this team has values that align with ours, which is why we’ve created a partnership since 2022 and, by the way, we’re proud to support the development of women’s cycling. Let’s meet this team!

A bit of History

The team’s name is a tribute to Cynisca, the first woman to win the Olympic Games in ancient history, in 396 and 392 BC. She was a Spartan chariot racehorse trainer, is depicted in the team’s logo today. Her courage and determination have inspired generations of women to break barriers and pursue their athletic dreams.

An international project

Based in the USA, the cycling team now has an international dimension, thanks to the 20 riders who make up the team. Most of them come from the United States, but there are also riders from Canada, France and other European countries. Supported by partners and donations, this non-profit organization competes on the world stage and come regularly in France for training camps.

With a focus on European racing, Cynisca Cycling is making waves in the competitive cycling scene. In their first year, they have already achieved significant results, including victories in major races like the Tour of the Gila and the Pan American Road Race Championships.

Empowering Women to Ride

Cynisca Cycling is dedicated to nurturing talent by identifying and supporting promising young cyclists. They provide a high-quality training environment and competitive opportunities, enabling riders to reach their full potential. Additionally, the team actively advocates for gender equality in cycling. Through participation in races, event organization, and collaboration with other organizations, they strive to create a level playing field for female athletes.
