This guided adventure offers an exciting exploration of the magnificent Pyrenees, renowned for its wild landscapes and challenging climbs. Although the precise itinerary has yet to be revealed, our program is designed to showcase some of the region's most iconic cycling experiences. From the heart of the central Pyrenees to the eastern regions, you could have the opportunity to climb legendary cols such as the Tourmalet, Aspin, Peyresourde and Port de Balès. Although the exact list of climbs and stages has not yet been confirmed, you can expect an exhilarating combination of climbs and breathtaking scenery. The final itinerary will be determined as the event approaches, guaranteeing an unforgettable adventure showcasing the best of the Pyrenees.

As a participant in this exclusive experience, you'll enjoy VIP access to key moments of the Tour de France. This could include the unique opportunity to cross the finish line before the pros, enjoy a stage finish with a glass of champagne in a privileged area, and chat with former professional riders. Throughout your stay, a small group of less than a dozen participants will be accompanied by our experienced guides, who will be there to supervise you on bike rides, in VIP areas, and to share convivial moments.

Arrival in Toulouse and transfer to the Pyrenees

Our adventure of the Pyrenees and the Tour de France 2025 route starts at Toulouse airport or train station in the early afternoon. At this meeting point, we'll welcome the group before a 2-hour transfer to our hotel in about Loudenvielle. Nestling in the heart of the Pyrenees, Loudenvielle reveals its charm as a picturesque village, offering the ideal starting point for discovering the region's legendary passes. After a brief orientation and bike fitting, take the time to explore the village on foot or venture out by bike along some superb routes starting directly from the hotel. That evening, we'll gather for a convivial dinner at the hotel restaurant, where we'll toast the beginning of this exceptional adventure.

Legendary Pyrenees' road

Today, you’ll embark on a challenging and iconic ride through the Pyrenees, with a stunning loop starting and ending in Lourdes, heading towards the legendary Col du Tourmalet. This climb is one of the most famous in the Tour de France and has a rich history of fierce competition among the world’s best cyclists.

Your ride begins in Lourdes, a town known for its religious significance and stunning views of the Pyrenean mountains. From here, you’ll make your way to Argelès-Gazost, a small town nestled in the valley, before starting the ascent to the Col du Tourmalet. The climb spans 19 km with an average gradient of around 7.4%, but the views along the way make every pedal stroke worth it. The road winds up through forests and rocky slopes, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. As you approach the summit, the feeling of accomplishment is palpable as you reach 2,115 meters—the highest paved pass in the central Pyrenees.

Once at the top, take in the incredible views before beginning your descent, following the same route back down to Lourdes. This ride is a true test for cyclists, with a mix of challenging ascents, beautiful landscapes, and the unique thrill of riding one of the most famous climbs in Tour de France history.

Road of Pyrenees

Today’s ride will take you on a thrilling loop through the Pyrenees, starting and ending in Lourdes, and tackling two of the most iconic climbs of the Tour de France: the Col d'Aubisque and Col du Soulor.

Your ride begins in Lourdes, heading towards the quaint village of Arthez-de-Béarn, where the climb to Col du Soulor begins. This ascent is demanding, with an average gradient of around 7.5% over 9.5 km, and it offers some spectacular views of the surrounding Pyrenean peaks. Once you reach the summit, you’ll descend toward the base of the legendary Col d'Aubisque.

The Col d'Aubisque is a true Tour de France legend, known for its grueling climb that has tested the best riders for decades. The climb spans 16 km with an average gradient of 7.1%, but what makes it truly special are the views of the valley below and the sheer scale of the mountains that surround you. As you approach the summit, you’ll see the famous Aubisque monument, marking the top of this iconic pass at 1,709 meters.

After savoring the panoramic views at the top, it’s time to descend back down, following the same route to return to Lourdes.

This loop is a fantastic challenge for cyclists, featuring legendary climbs, sweeping views of the Pyrenees, and the thrill of riding two of the most famous ascents in Tour de France history. It’s a day filled with natural beauty, cycling history, and unforgettable moments.

Whether from the top of the bus or under sun umbrellas, you can closely follow the race on the giant screen or live, all while freely moving around to enjoy petits fours or a glass of rosé. Take advantage of this VIP area, away from the crowds, without missing a second of the race.

As the riders cross the finish line, celebrate this unique moment with a glass of champagne in hand, surrounded by fans from all over the world! VIP ACCESS DEPARTURE VILLAGE

On-site, you can follow the preparations and the excitement leading up to the start, thanks to giant screens broadcasting live images, interviews, and real-time commentary. You'll have the opportunity to watch the riders prepare for the day’s stage, witness the team presentations and their riders - a key moment when they sign the start sheet before heading off into the race.

Feel free to step outside the start village to witness the grand departure of the publicity caravan.

The Start Village is also the stage for various activities: explore the Tour de France sponsors' stands, participate in contests/lotteries, collect exclusive goodies and taste regional specialties offered at the stands. The atmosphere is lively with musical performances, demonstrations, and occasionally cultural exhibitions highlighting the region hosting the stage.

VIP access closes after the stage's departure.

PODIUM-DAY - CROSS THE FINISH LINE

Meeting at the starting point and preparation

We’ll meet in the morning near the Tour route at an easily accessible parking area where you can leave your vehicle, located about 30 km from the finish of the day’s stage. We’ll enjoy a breakfast of pastries and coffee to introduce ourselves to our team and explain the day’s program in detail. We will then adjust the bikes to your body type to ensure you're in the best possible condition.

Experience the stage!

Set off to cover the last 30 to 40 kilometers that separate you from the finish of the stage! Our bike guide will be by your side to accompany and advise you throughout the day, while our van guide will stay at the back of the group, allowing everyone to ride at their own pace and call on assistance if needed.

Crossing the finish line

Realize your wildest dreams and cross the finish line as a Tour de France rider! Like the peloton, you’ll enjoy closed roads for the occasion and have an official car escorting you as you pass the finish line of the day’s stage, cheered on by the crowd already gathered along the roads. Feel free to take photos at the finish line to capture this exceptional moment.

You will then have the incredible privilege of standing on the official Tour de France podium, allowing you to keep a memorable souvenir of this unforgettable day.

Passing of the pro riders

You’ll have time to gather your thoughts while waiting for the peloton of the Tour de France to pass by.

Our guides will have prepared an authentic and delicious picnic close to the finish.

You’ll be right next to the race and can imagine what the riders are experiencing at that moment. At the end of the day, you’ll return to the starting point by bike or van, depending on available routes.
