From Nîmes (transfer to Uzès) & Free day to explore Uzès

On Saturday morning, a taxi will take you to Uzès, which has been transformed into the capital of truffles for the weekend. To fully immerse yourself in the world of truffles, you can take part in exclusive activities such as the "Truffle Discovery", a sensory experience available by reservation, or the "Truffle History and Flavours" guided tour, which will reveal all the secrets of this precious product. These activities, which can be booked in advance, will immerse you in the fascinating world of truffles. In the evening, the gala dinner 'La Nuit de la Truffe' awaits you under the big top for a festive evening where truffle dishes and local wines are combined in a convivial and gourmet atmosphere. Please note that this evening must be booked in advance and is not included in the programme.

Truffle Festival & Uzès LOOP

On Sunday, the Place aux Herbes in Uzès becomes the beating heart of the Truffle Festival. This popular and festive day invites you to discover the "black diamond" of French cuisine through a unique market, the first in the country dedicated to truffles. You can watch truffle-hunting demonstrations, buy fresh truffles direct from local producers and take part in tastings of truffle products. Tastings of truffle specialities are also available by reservation for an even more gourmet experience. Don't miss the truffle mass, a symbolic moment before the auction of the blessed truffles. At noon, a truffle-flavoured meal, also available by reservation, rounds off this celebration dedicated to the truffle.

In the afternoon, there's a walk to discover Uzès and its surroundings from a different angle.

From Uzès to Pont du Gard (then transfer to Avignon)

In the morning, enjoy a walk to the majestic Pont du Gard, a masterpiece of 1st century Roman architecture. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a magnificent panorama of the Gardon Valley. Explore the ancient aqueduct and its surroundings, perfect for an immersion in history and nature. After this visit, a taxi transfer will take you back to Avignon for the night.
