Best of Provence - a big title really considering all the great aspects to be found and experienced in this enchanting region of France! This tour is a combination of several of our tours with some longer riding in between in order to give a little bit of different places: Drome Provencale, Vaucluse, Luberon, Alpilles, Gard, and the Rhone River areas. Discover some great wine, some amazing historical villages, pass through lavender fields, olive groves, and visit castles and art museums.
Place of departure is Avignon from where you have a superb central location to visit all the historical sites of the old city of Avignon. Looping through the charming countryside you finish back in Avignon near the Palais des Papes. Your itineraries are studied with care and patience ; they avoid the traffic and look up the highlights.

We just finished and everything was great. The app is helpful. The hotels were all wonderful.
Our first but certainly not our last trip to beautiful Provence! We really enjoyed our 300+km self-guided tour. The routes were well laid out, the app worked well, the bikes were comfortable and the hotels were (with one exception) excellent. We ... were more or less fit (we thought) but the hills were quite challenging, especially the long climbs at the end of the rides to St Paul and Gordes. At the end of each day, relaxing by a pool with a tall cool drink was heaven. Thanks to Gabriel for excellent support.

First, we really enjoyed all of the routes! They were well planned and we were not uncomfortable riding them at all. The hotels were also all very lovely, with very friendly and helpful staff. The bike rental was mostly smooth, although the bik ... e they brought me did not fit all that well. It was a bit small. And a big THANKS to you for arranging all of the details!

I wanted to thank you and the whole Discover France team for a great vacation. I truly appreciate all the time you took to answer all my questions ahead of time so that we felt prepared. We loved the ride. I thought the app was easy to use and a ... m pretty amazed I was able to navigate us around Provence with it! The bikes were also great, and Charles really appreciated getting the replacement bike. He said it was perfect. I have nothing but the highest praise for everything included with our trip. The hotels, the route, the included dinner in Gordes (amazing!). We were really impressed with it all and agree that we will happily travel with Discover France again. The little extras of the high-quality water bottles and extra battery were also appreciated.

We very much enjoyed our bike trip. The route was easy to follow, we appreciated seeing many of the smaller towns along way, and the countryside riding.
