CHALLENGE A PRO RIDER

Meeting at the starting point and preparation

We’ll meet in the morning near the Tour route at an easily accessible parking area where you can leave your vehicle. We’ll enjoy a breakfast of pastries and coffee to introduce ourselves to the pro cyclist* and explain the day's program in detail. We will then adjust the bikes to your body type to ensure you're in the best possible condition.

Conquering the day’s stage before the pros

Now it’s your turn to take on the challenge! You’ll set off to conquer the climb of the day’s stage, riding alongside the pro cyclist*. Dressed in his team colors, he rarely goes unnoticed. You’ll start with a gentle warm-up before tackling the main climb, covering around 25 to 45 km with an elevation gain of 1,000 to 1,800 meters. Make the most of this special moment at the heart of the stage.

In addition to the pro cyclist*, you'll benefit from the expertise of one of our bike guides riding alongside you, with a support van trailing the group throughout the day. This allows everyone to ride at their own pace and call on assistance if needed.

Our team will also provide designated refreshment stops along the climb.

Passing of the pro riders

Once you reach the top of the climb, it's time for a photo moment to celebrate your ascent, followed by a descent to the picnic spot our guide will have reserved for you in advance, ideally located.

You’ll have time to relax and recover while waiting for the peloton to pass by. You’ll be right next to the race and can imagine what the riders are experiencing at that moment, enriched by the memories and insights our pro cyclist* will be happy to share with you. At the end of the day, you’ll either ride or take the van back to the starting point, depending on available routes.

*Pro cyclist, either active or recently retired.
