2010 Tour de France - Discover France Adventures is licensed by ASO as an Official Tour Operator for the Tour de France
The 2010 Tour route was announced on October 14 in Paris, and we are now pleased to present our tour offers! Discover France Adventures owns the brand Cycling Classics which is a brand dedicated to more challenging tours - both guided and self guided. So, it is on that site that we list all of our tours in detail. We are one and the same company. You will find details including prices, dates, daily itineraries, photos, and many details to help you decide.
1. Mountain Stage Tours - VIP access and what we call "Domestique" Tours. VIP tours come with amazing INSIDER access to the race including riding on the finish, going on the podium, being among media and the pro athletes themselves. Only a VIP Tour Operator can offer this access - and there are only 4 of us worldwide!
2. Moderate cycling with VIP Access; led by professional French cycling guides start in Aix en Provence and go into the Pyrenees. Moderate daily rides and all the VIP access that only comes from an Official VIP operator. This tour leaves time for some cultural visits and local heritage discovery.
3. Challenging cycling at Non VIP prices; led by professional French cycling guides. Mostly the same tours as the VIP Tours, but we call them the "Domestique" Tours. Enjoy great hotels, great locations, and watch the race on many days alongside all the fans that come out to support this amazing event. Alpes Domestique and Pyrenees Domestique Tours offer great value.
4. Self guided Tour de France tours - both in the Alpes and Pyrenees. Fantastic locations with great access to the race. If you are a DIY - then book this fast - they will not last!
5. Paris Only Packages - Secured places for watching the final stage on the Champs Elysees. We can take individuals or groups up to 50 persons. Interested persons in this should contact us ASAP - space is on hold but will sell very quickly!
6. Etape du Tour - ride a full stage of the Tour de France over closed roads with 7000 of your closest cycling friends. The most famous of all cyclosportives!
Our VIP trips will include privileged access and top quality lodging. We use both motorcoaches and vans.
